Lip Augmentation
Lip augmentation is a cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the shape, size, and overall appearance of the lips. The most common method involves the injection of dermal fillers, usually made of hyaluronic acid (HA), to add volume, define the lip contours, and create a fuller, more youthful look. There are other methods, like fat grafting or lip implants, but injectable fillers are the most popular due to their non-invasive nature and minimal downtime. How long does it last?
How long do Lip Augmentations last?
Like all dermal filler procedures, filler lasts dramatically longer with repeated treatments. In the lips, results can last up to 6-9 months after 1st treatment. With the 2nd treatment the results can last up to 18 months. Of course this is not an exact science and filler is metabolised different between individuals.
